Drake and Bad Bunny were part of a team on MIA (2018), while Madonna teamed up with Maluma on Medellin, 2019 In the year 2020, a handful of reggaeton performers were lamenting its inclination towards mainstream. However, a younger generation of performers, including Rauw Alejandro, aimed to ensure that reggaeton was evolving. The musician incorporated electronic dance music and other genres into his songs.
