Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss' first taste of fame as a fiddler was in 1990. She was 19 years old and got the Grammy in the category of Best Bluegrass Album. It was an impressive feat in many ways, not just because Krauss was young as well because I've Got That Old Feeling was the 3rd album in her library. Too Late to Cry was her first album, released in 16 years old. Champaign Illinois resident's age of 16. Her contract was already in place to Rounder Records, one of the most prestigious folk labels even at fourteen. Krauss is known for her incredible musicianship and her accomplishments at such an early age. Her devotion to bluegrass music which is among the most traditional and underrated genres of the American tradition, is also an unavoidable fact.
