Dennings dated the "2 Broke Girls" co-star, Nick Zano, from between 2011 and 2014. The couple began to date Josh Groban shortly after they separated. They stayed together till 2016. Dennings first met Andrew W.K., a musician during the first year of 2021. They soon began dating and confirmed their engagement in the month of the month of May in 2021. Dennings was a fan of the musician since 2014. Dennings has admitted that, although she was born Jewish and was raised to become an active member within the Jewish community at a social and ethnic level, religion does not form a large part in her everyday activities. Her interests include gardening, reading and drawing. Her plans to go to art school were derailed when her portfolio was lost in the flooding. At the end of the day, she decided to interpret this as a sign to continue acting. She isn't a drinker or smoke and enjoys practicing Transcendental Meditation. She has been a vocal advocate for animal rights, in addition to having an animal companion.
