She was born in Santa Monica California, the United States of America on the 26th of November, 1986. She is the daughter of her father Vincenzo and maternal grandmother Valerie Barba. The family relocated from New Jersey's Point Pleasant to Jersey, at 6. Her education was completed at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. Then she attended Catholic University and graduated with an undergraduate degree in architecture. The violin was first played at age 4 and became known by the name Violin Girl. Her name was often used to refer to her nickname due to her performances. She also taught violin to the neighborhood children.
